At Eurotrader, we are committed to providing traders with a seamless and efficient trading experience.

If the "New Order" button is grayed out on your trading platform, it means you cannot place a new trade at that moment. Below are common causes and their solutions:

1. No active market session or trading hours

  • Reason: The market for the instrument you're trying to trade may be closed. Different assets like Forex, stocks, or commodities have specific trading hours.
  • Solution: Check the trading hours for the instrument. If it’s outside of active trading hours, you’ll need to wait until the market opens.

2. No available margin

  • Reason: Insufficient margin or funds in your account to open a new position will disable the "New Order" button.
  • Solution: Ensure your account has enough margin or funds. Check the account balance and margin level in the Terminal or Account Summary tabs.

3. Correct symbol not activated

  • Reason: The symbol for the instrument you wish to trade may not be activated on your chart or in the Market Watch window.
  • Solution: Select the correct symbol from the Market Watch or Chart window. If it's not listed, right-click and select "Show All" or manually search for it. Once activated, the "New Order" button will be enabled.
