At Eurotrader, we provide the best trading platforms to ensure a seamless and efficient trading experience.

The investor password is a read-only login credential in MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5). It allows users to monitor a trading account without being able to place trades or modify positions.

Where to find your Investor Password?

Your investor password is automatically generated when you create a trading account and is included in your account details. You can find it directly in MetaTrader:

๐Ÿ”นGo to the "Mailbox" section in the Toolbox.
๐Ÿ”นOpen the first message titled "Registration" to view the password.

How to Change the Investor Password?

To change your investor password in MetaTrader, follow these steps:

๐Ÿ”นLog in to your MetaTrader platform.
๐Ÿ”น Click on the "Tools" tab at the top.
๐Ÿ”น Select "Options".

๐Ÿ”น Open the "Server" section.
๐Ÿ”น Click "Change" next to the password field.
๐Ÿ”น Select "Change Investor Password".
๐Ÿ”น Enter your new investor password and click "OK".

This feature is particularly useful for account monitoring, allowing traders to share access with investors, mentors, or analysts without compromising security.
